Well, the “blog police” have done their job.  I have been “nagged” into posting another picture.  (hehe, thanks, Faux-ma!)  This was one I took of Cassie after dinner a couple of days ago.  She is showing so much of her little personality now!!  (And, no…I haven’t forgotten about the babysite.  I hope to have time to post a full update tomorrow.)

She looks like such a big girl in this picture!!

Cassidy got to try kiwi for the first time a few days ago.  She loved it!  Everything was covered in black seeds by the time she was done.

I know it has been a really long time since the last update.  Things have been busy for us lately, and Cassidy has been keeping us very busy as well!  Look for an update to her babysite soon.  I am uploading a few more pictures tonight.

Cassidy is starting to stand now!

Today, Cassie gave her teacher “sugars”.  She started doing this to Daddy a week or two ago, and she did it to Mommy last night.  She will lean forward and open her mouth to kiss you.  Sometimes she will even try to pull your face toward hers.  She is such a sweet little baby girl!!

CASSIDY IS CRAWLING! YAY!!! When I picked her up from day care today, the told me that she started crawling. I was thinking that it was the little tiny movements with her hands that she has been making for a few days, but they assured me it was real honest-to-goodness crawling. She felt obliged to demonstrate for us when we got home today, too and we were lucky enough to catch it on video! If you check the Flickr feed, you can see the video. Her teachers at day care (as well as just about everyone else we talk to) think that she will be walking before she is 1. She crawls over to things for the simple purpose of pulling up on them. Needless to say, we will be baby-proofing next week while we are on vacation.

The offending tooth FINALLY broke through yesterday.  YAY!  Since then, Cassidy has been a much happier baby.

So, Cassidy is starting to pull up on things now.  I had her in the bathroom with me this morning while I was getting ready and I saw that she was pulling up on the toilet (the lid was closed).  I was reaching over to move her and then she opened her mouth and did the unthinkable…SHE LICKED THE TOILET.  I can only pray that my toilet is clean enough!

This picture was from a few days ago.  It has been busy around here.  Between the wedding (D & J) and Cassie’s stomach bug (she’s over it now), I didn’t have 5 minutes to sit down and post!

When we got home today, Cassidy kept making this motion with her arms.  She would take both arms and put them up over her head in an arch and then bring them back down.  I’m really not sure where she got that from.  I’ll have to ask at school tomorrow…
